I have worked in the care sector for over fourteen years, 9 of those as a director of a domestic home for adults with learning disabilities. During this time I studied sociology and psychology at Blackburn College, this was purely for interest not for a qualification. I hold awards in NVQ at levels 2, 3 and 4 in Care and hold the Registered Managers Award (RMA) I have full Criminal Records Bureau clearance at Enhanced Level which is important when working with vulnerable adults and kids.
