I visited Greenfield eye care today for the first time along with my young daughter. Im so happy to have found a great opticians local to home. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming. The optician took her time with my daughter (6) to explain each step of her very first eye test. James and Claire were really helpful when I came to choosing out my new glasses. Im so indecisive, but they were happy for me to try lots of different styles and colours and helped me decide on the final pair. Thank you so much! I will definitely choose Greenfield eye care every time. I cant wait to collect my new specs next week.

When searching for an opticians in my local area in saddleworth I came across greenfield eye care. I booked an eye test and visited. I have to say the service was incredible and was greeted warmly and kindly by the staff. They were really friendly and allocated me a time frame where I was the center of attention and gave me expert advice and guidance on what to buy and expect out of each pair of glasses.Overall great experience and an absolute pleasure. Would recommend to visit to get a pair of glasses.

Couldn't recommend Greenfield Eyecare enough!
The staff were welcoming, professional and warm and show a great deal of passion for eyecare. I was given lots of time, after my appointment, to choose my frames and the turn around time on my glasses being ready was great too.

I visited the Saddleworth branch for my appointment with Liz Crompton recently. I was met at the door by two lovely ladies who checked me in. Liz was fantastic answering my questions and talking me through the whole process of the exam as I have an eye condition. Would recommend Allego 100% for a friendly and professional service.

I have to say a huge thank you to the whole team at Allegro Greenfield. I recently attended Allegro for a routine eye test which was extremely thorough and as my prescription has changed I needed to replace my glasses. The assistance and advice was superb. I bought a pair of spectacles from them and can honestly say they are definitely the best, in all aspects, I have ever worn by far.
I was first prescribed glasses when I was seven years old, back when there were no options in style (round wire frames) and two options in colour (pink or blue plastic) courtesy of the National Health. I have worn varifocals for the past twenty years and have been ok with them on the whole. However, the ones I have just purchased from Allegro are exceptional both functionally and aesthetically. I chose a David Green frame in tones of green, they are beautiful, absolutely gorgeous. More importantly my vision in them is incredible in comparison to varifocals I have had previously. The wide span of clarity makes a huge difference to ordinary tasks in my daily life. I havent experienced the distorted vision which can be a little unsteadying when I am not able to look square on in a direction. I understand Sheryl, the Dispensing Optician, has perfected a technic in lens designing which is particularly beneficial to musicians, thank goodness as it certainly benefits me! The vision in my left eye is much worse than that of my right and ordinarily the prescription for the lens in my left would be thicker, making one eye look larger than the other even with the thinning of the lens. But, yet again, Sheryl was able to make both lenses equal in thickness, fantastic. She is a genius!
