read moreI initially started driving over ten years ago, and can only lt describe that as a disaster. I honestly thought that nothing would get me behind the wheel again, and even if I did I would never build the confidence to be able to pass a driving test. I started learning with the fabulous Geoff, and can say that thanks to his exceptional patience, and his wonderful sense of humour (what a laugh we had!) I was really put at ease, he was a wonderful teacher and made me look forward to lessons! Thanks to this I managed to pass on my first attempt yesterday and I couldn't be more grateful!!! read moreI could never learn to drive as I was always a really nervous driver and really hated it, that was until I came across this driving school. Geoff made me realise I can drive and there's no need to be nervous, just need to practice! He made me feel at ease when driving and the nerves would just disappear with every lesson. Now I have just passed my test and I have Geoff to thank, as i never thought i'd ever get to this point!

read moreI cannot recommend Geoff and his team enough, I started to learn in February this year and by the end of June had passed both my theory and practical.
Geoff is an amazing teacher who matches his instructor skills with making you feel at ease in the car. I looked forward to every single lesson and really enjoyed learning alongside him.
The pace is changed to suit you and Geoff will always ask you at the start of the lesson if there is anything that you want to focus on as well as following the basic teachings of being behind the wheel of a car.
To top it all off I was 8 months pregnant by the time I passed, so that just proves Geoff's skills and patience as an Instructor.
The link to the Theory trainer was invaluable and is a really easy to use App that lets you practice the questions and hazard test, it also shows you where you need to focus and brush up on your highway code.

I am so happy that I have passed however I am also a little sad that I don't have a weekly "trip out" for a couple of hours to look forward to.

read moreBefore you can start driving lessons you must hold a provisional licence, you can apply for this any time after you reach 15 years and 9 months. You can take your theory test anytime from your 17th birthday so if you are keen to learn to drive you might want to start studying for this before your 17th birthday. You don't need to have passed it to start your lessons, but some advance knowledge of road safety will always be helpful! Once you have passed your theory test you have two years to pass your driving test otherwise you will have to re-sit it.
