We couldn't have done it without people like you. I painted at a fantastic birthday party this morning and then went straight to a Samaritans event that I'm proud to say i volunteered at. In the busy demanding world we live in it feels great to do something for absolutely nothing because you just can.

read moreEven though i have worked with many people addicted to self harm I was shocked to discover that eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any mental illness. However when i thought about it, I wasn't surprised. The strain on the body through extremely low weight, binging, purging, continuous starving or/and abuse of laxatives is enormous. Im not sure how we as a nation can tackle eating disorders but i do think that considering the death rate linked to it more funding should be made available.

We have had so much positive feedback about the party and especially about you both, so thanks so much for making it a great morning. The mum of Alice (the other birthday girl) has not let Alice have her face painted before and has always been very dubious of it. She has asked me to say that you have ‘converted her' with your fab painting and Alice has even had it done since the party.
