Below is our most recent Google review: ‘I've had two cataract operations at Face & Eye Clinic: the first in 2011 undertaken by Mr Brian Leatherbarrow and the second. I had reconstruction surgery last year from Mr Ataullah and his team in order to correct a Mohs defect near my eye. I have been absolutely delighted with the results and the way it has healed.
Face Surgery

There are many different brow lift operation options. The options will be discussed with you to ensure that the surgical procedure that is most appropriate for you is selected, taking into account factors such as your age, general health, ethnicity and skin type, and the extent of the brow ptosis. For some patients a lower lid blepharoplasty can be combined with fat injections or microfat injections to the cheeks or mid face where there is hollowing, in order to further enhance the outcome of the surgery.

The ophthalmic surgeons at Face & Eye are all Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeons experienced in diagnosing and treating medical conditions of the eye. This refers to surgery undertaken to replace a patient's own lens with a lens implant in order to improve the patient's visual performance, often overcoming the patient's reliance on glasses for distance e.g. for driving, or for near e.g. for reading. There are a number of corneal conditions which can result in the need for surgical procedures.
Quality
read moreFace and Eye Clinic are committed to providing a safe environment for patients and staff, in which high quality care can be delivered. We take information from a variety of sources - from patients, from our staff, from our partners in the NHS and beyond, from regulators and from national guidance and findings, such as the Francis report. We use this to review a range of themes to help maintain consistently high standards of care. We use these to report on quality and show improvements in the services that we provide.

Our credentials are easy to research through the Royal Colleges e.g. the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, via our NHS Trusts e.g. Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, via the GMC, and via our subspecialty professional bodies e.g. This is a term which has been coined to describe intravenous safe conscious sedation. At Face & Eye this is only given by a very experienced and skilled consultant anaesthetist (commonly referred to as "twilight anaesthesia").
