Duke Of York Inn

The Duke of York, Shelf, is a 17th century former coaching inn, located on the A644 in a hamlet known as Stone Chair, in the village of Shelf, between Halifax and Bradford. The characterful Inn is adorned with a lot of Oak beams, and provides both formal and informal dining in the bar area or the separate dining area. Within the Bar we currently have a array of cask conditioned ales available together with an interesting array of wines & liqueurs. A complete lunch and evening meal menu is available 6 days a week and a traditional home cooked roast on a Sunday.
