read moreI am a fully qualified independent Driving Instructor in Belfast with almost 30 years driving experience and have been running DKL Driving School since 2007. My aim is to help you from your first lesson through to your test and beyond; passing on as much of my experience as possible to help in real world driving as well as preparing you for the test. Whatever level, I can help you reach that final goal of passing your driving test. Having sat in on many of my students driving tests over the years I am well aware what examiners are looking for and the standard required. Sometimes for whatever reason people have their licence revokedand may be required by the magistrate to take an extended driving test. This test is very similar to a 'L' test but much longer.

read moreDes is the man! He's a great example of what a driving instructor should be. Gives his full attention during the lesson and doesn't use your own time for himself unlike other instructors. He has the sufficient equipment needed in order to give you his best service. He was very helpful because when you make mistakes, he explains it thoroughly and helps you understand it. All I can say is that he's a dedicated man to his job. And maybe that's why he's in the top 200 of all the driving instructors in the UK.

Test Safety Questions

Familiarise yourself with the various dashboard warning lights and control symbols. After your instructor has introduced themselves you will take the passenger seat before being driven to a suitable training area nearby; you will not be 'thrown in at the deep end'.
