read moreI am an Integrative counsellor with experience of working with both private clients and clients within NHS, EAP, Private and Statutory sectors. The Integrative approach I offer embraces a Humanistic Relational perspective, believing in the individuals capacity to grow, change and heal through a positive therapeutic relationship. I aim to provide a safe confidential space in which to explore difficulties, issues and concerns for genuine change to occur.

I hold a special interest in working with relational trauma and attachment, with individuals. This is reflected in my Continuous Professional Development training which includes Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, EMDR and Comprehensive Resource Model.

In addition, I am a registered Adoption Counsellor working with post-adoption. I am trained in Developmental Dyadic Psychotherapy (DDP) working with children and their families in an attachment focussed way.

read moreI am a humanistic counsellor, my training was initially as a person-centered counsellor, but over the years I have adapted my style, and my approach is now an Integrative one. I have experience of working with both private clients and clients referred through the NHS Lets Talk account. I believe that individuals have the capacity to change and to grow through a positive therapeutic relationship. I provide a safe, confidential space, where you can feel free to explore difficulties, issues, and concerns without judgement. I hope that through therapy, you can achieve your goal, feel empowered, and have the skills and renewed thinking to deal with whatever challenges you may encounter in the future. I work with adults and young adults from the age of 14 years.

I am able to work creatively or work with your inner child which is a metaphor for your younger self. My main area of interest and Continuing Professional Development encompasses training for trauma and Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, particularly around adults abused as children.
