The City of Oxford Silver Band is Oxford's longest-established brass band. The band welcomes experienced players as well as beginners and improvers. Playing in a brass band is fun and a great way to meet new people. The band plays at concerts, fetes and contests all year round and is available to book. We have a versatile hall which is available for local groups to hire.

We have different bands for different levels of ability and we offer lessons so you can develop quickly as a player. Our ‘Senior Band' plays throughout the year at venues across the county as well as at contests organised by ODBBA, and the London and Southern Counties Region of the National Championships. If you are already playing your instrument to a reasonable standard, or have played with brass bands previously do get in touch.
