About Us
read moreThere are many driving schools in Cambridge. When teaching however, we provide a relaxed environment where the pupil can learn at their own pace and on a one to one basis with the same driving instructor. Having maintained high pass rates, we feel this is due not only to providing the pupil with all the knowledge and skills to pass their test, but also to build the pupils confidence in a patient and stress free approach. From a complete novice, or for those that may have passed their test but need some refresher lessons to get your confidence back, your lessons will be tailored around your preferred times and abilities to suit you.
What to expect on the theory test
read moreThe theory test is made up of two parts. The first part taken is the multiple choice part and then the hazard perception part. Both the multiple choice part and the hazard perception part of the theory have to be passed or you will need to retake the test again. Once you have successfully completed the theory test, you can then apply for your practical driving test. Before the test starts, you'll be given instructions on the screen or you can choose to go through a practice session of the test.
What to expect on the practical
read moreAt the time of your test, the Examiner will enter the waiting room, call your name and ask you to sign an Insurance declaration. This gives the Examiner a chance to check your signature against your provisional driving licence. The Examiner will then ask if this is your current address on your licence. The Examiner will now ask you to lead the way to your car, and identify it to the Examiner. On the way to the parking area the Examiner should introduce himself and ask you what name he should refer to you as.
What is Pass Plus
read morePass Plus is a training scheme for new drivers. Its aim is to improve your driving skills and make you a safer driver. It can also lead to insurance discounts. The scheme has been designed by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA), with the help of the motor insurance and driving instruction industries, to develop your skills and knowledge in areas where you may have limited experience. Pass Plus consists of a minimum of 6 hours training and the emphasis is on developing your practical driving skills.
Taxi driver training
read moreThe taxi assessment test is designed to test your ability to drive safely, courteously and confidently with that of an experienced driver. A higher standard of driving is therefore required than the standard learner driver test. The standard learner test permits up to 15 minors, the taxi assessment test permits a maximum of 9. The national pass rate for taxi tests is around 30%. Due to this low pass rate, professional taxi training is essential. During the taxi assessment test, it is highly likely the examiner will require you to demonstrate the emergency stop.

Pass Plus is an extra six hour driving course for pupils who have passed the driving test. Pupils who reach a suitable standard are sent a certificate which may allow them cheaper insurance. The cars we use varies, but they're all small, easy to drive with excellent all-round observation making it easier to perform all the manoeuvres.
