Bury Golf Club
Sporting Club in Bury, Greater Manchester
Bury Golf Club was established in 1890. We're a friendly club, welcoming both new members or guests who just want to play the course. The Club has a rich history and strong links with the famous Harry Vardon, who won the Open championship on six occasions. Harry was once the Professional at Bury having arrived in the North West of England from Jersey. Another famous link is with Dr Alastair McKenzie whose legendary 2 tier greens may be found on the course.
