Open since September 2006, Bodyworx was forged and built by a keen health fan who was unhappy with the trend in today's health centres. Having been a member at various gyms and clubs it became apparent that something was missing or had changed. Health clubs had become franchises, a club to pose or be seen in, losing focus and touch with its actual goal and purpose. With this in mind Bodyworx was built with a clear philosophy and direction: to provide quality equipment, experience and encouragement to anyone and everyone with a serious interest in fitness no matter their level or background.
