Refractive Lens Exchange
read moreRefractive lens exchange (RLE) is a surgery that corrects vision by replacing the natural lens with a custom intraocular lens (IOL). Its often recommended for individuals over 50 who have high prescriptions or cannot benefit from laser eye surgery. RLE is ideal for treating both myopia and hyperopia, and the procedure can be tailored to address different visual needs with options for distance, intermediate, and near vision.
Cataract Surgery
read moreIf you have cataracts, surgery is the only effective solution. During the operation, your natural cloudy lens is removed and substituted with a clear intraocular lens (IOL). Your surgeon will guide you on which type of lens will be best for your everyday activities and vision goals.
Laser Vision Correction
read moreLaser vision correction at Ayrshire Eye Clinic uses advanced technology to reshape the cornea, addressing refractive errors like nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism. With a modern laser system, we provide precise treatments that offer lasting vision improvement. Our experienced team, led by a renowned surgeon, ensures a smooth process from the initial consultation to post-treatment care.
Implantable Contact Lens
read moreEVO is a new generation of vision correction technology, designed to provide freedom from glasses and contact lenses. The procedure is fast, typically taking under 30 minutes, and recovery is quick, often allowing patients to return to daily activities within a few days. The implantable lens works harmoniously with the eye, making it a reliable and reversible option for various vision needs.
Glaucoma Treatment
read moreGlaucoma is a serious eye condition that causes damage to the optic nerve, often due to high pressure from fluid buildup in the eye. While it cannot be reversed, treatments like medication, laser therapy, and surgery can help control the condition and prevent further damage. Early detection is key, and regular eye exams are essential to monitor eye health.

I cannot recommend the Ayrshire Eye Clinic highly enough - Mr Srinivasan and his team are first class. From my initial consultation to the procedure to my after care - they could not have done more, every aspect was exemplary. I travelled from Glasgow and would do so again. To have this standard of clinic in Scotland is worth the trip.
