read moreIt's been a long time coming, and we are really excited about welcoming our members back after 5 long months! You need to PRE BOOK your gym workout session using the Fit Sense App (downloadable from Google Play or App Store) These can only be booked 7 days in advance. No walk ins - to keep in line with social distancing; only 25 people at any one time in the gym. Please arrive no longer than 5 minutes before your session to avoid unnecessary waiting outside. Each session is 1 hour - to allow 45 minutes for your workout, and 15 minutes to clean down and change over.

read moreWe provide a multi-disciplinary approach that ensures you can achieve your training goals, whatever they may be. Our team are all highly qualified in their areas of expertise, and as they have provided training programmes for people ranging from the everyday public through to elitist sports people and olympic athletes, you can be assured that they have the experience to meet your own specific needs. I have worked in the fitness industry for 20 years, 17 of those with Alive & Well. Before that, I spent time as a builder, but was also a semi pro footballer for Altrincham, Warrington Town and various other clubs.

It is widely acknowledged that having your own Personal Trainer is the quickest and safest way to achieve your health and fitness goals. Not only does it ensure that you exercise in the safest and most effective way possible, but it also gives you variety, encouragement and motivation to complete your workouts.
Classes
read moreTo help with social distancing in the gym, we will be holding all classes in the fourth floor suites in Chadwick House. Please take care as a one way system is in place - you will also need to bring with you, water and your own mat where needed. Studio Classes must be pre-booked via the Fit Sense app, or by email to info@alive-well.co.uk. If you are unable to attend a booked class we ask that you phone us to cancel at least 2 hours in advance.

read moreKettlebells - This class will give fast results for strength, endurance and muscle toning using dynamic, total body movements. Legs Bums and Tums - The clue is in the name, a 30 minute ladies only masterclass which focusses on problem areas, such as legs, bums and tums. Mobilty - A class to help you to develop the ability to move more freely in different ranges of movements. Tabata - A fast paced, fun, fat burning class. 30 minutes of interval workouts made up of 20 second rounds at maximum intensity followed by 10 seconds rest.
