read moreI approached Kamlesh in November 2019 after being recommended by a friend. As a first time buyer, he got to know my budget, my finances, and the type of lifestyle I wanted so he could advise me on what I would be able to afford when I'd found a house that suited me. He suggested I get a credit card to show I was able to make monthly payments on time. He got back in touch with me in December when I'd gathered enough evidence to show I was financially stable. I found the perfect house in February 2020 just before lockdown hit due to coronavirus. A while later, he had to break the news to me that because of the uncertainty for the banks, that my deposit would have to double. But just a few weeks later, he called me again to let me know that the loan to value had gone back to almost normal and he secured me a mortgage deal right away after checking it suited me personally (fixed/variable rate, mortgage term, monthly payments, lender pros and cons). It was definitely the best mortgage deal for me and I wouldn't have been able to secure that deal myself. Kamlesh has been there for me right until I had the keys in my hand. He even coached me when it came to how to deal with the estate agents and negotiating on the house price.
