read moreThe A1 Flue story began in 1973, when founder Colin Moir started trading as A1 Sheet Metal Co based in a very small unit located just off the A1, in Elkesley, hence the name! Around 18 months later the business was relocated to an old army Nissen hut on Boughton Industrial Estate. In 1993, we merged with Bridge Flue System Sales Limited and the name became A1 Bridge Flue Systems. During a recent rebrand we became known as A1 Flue Systems. Today, we are still family owned, operating from our headquarters in Boughton, near Ollerton, Nottinghamshire, where all our manufacturing takes place.
