read moreWith a history dating back to the turn of the century we are a company with a strong diversified base. In the early 1900's the company's founder Richard Simon acquired licenses for the manufacture of Tubular Dryers. In the 1930's the product range was extended with the introduction of Drum Dryers. During the '40s and '50s Simon produced over one hundred Drum Dryers to meet the worldwide demand for dried milk powder and by the 1960's every major whisky distiller in Scotland was using a Simon Tubular Dryer for the drying of spent grains.
