The firm was originally established in 1991 as a partnership by two Chartered Civil Engineers Terry White and Mike Royall. The work undertaken was a huge array of civil engineering projects from roads to buildings. While many clients just had single one off needs for investigations (usually associated with the building they lived in) some clients had multiple needs for investigations at locations throughout the country. Rather than doing business with a number of different Consulting Engineers, these clients often preferred to cope with a single provider.
