Welcome to Moorlands Evangelical Church Lancaster
Moorlands Evangelical Church is a Bible-believing community in Lancaster, dedicated to spreading the message of Jesus Christ through careful biblical teaching and practical outreach. Established in 2005, we prioritise gospel-centred ministry, equipping Christians for service and sharing Christ's hope locally and globally. Our Sunday gatherings at 10am welcome all ages, with tailored programmes for students, families, and international communities. We invest in leadership development, run evangelistic courses like Hope Explored, and host weekly Growth Groups for deeper connection. Our recent building project has expanded our city-centre facilities to better serve Lancaster's university population and wider community. As part of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches, we maintain doctrinal integrity while focusing on practical discipleship and mission. Through weekly sermons, podcasts, and training initiatives, we aim to make Christ's teachings accessible to all generations.
