Welcome to Emmanuel Church Mendham Hall
We are a conservative evangelical church serving the West Hill community of Hastings. Our Sunday services at 10:30am provide a welcoming environment for all ages, featuring biblical teaching, worship, and supervised children's groups. Through home groups, prayer meetings, and discipleship programs, we foster spiritual growth and community connection. Our mission extends beyond weekly gatherings through outreach initiatives like Hope Explored, Christianity Explored, and youth-focused Vox series. With a commitment to safeguarding and accessibility, we aim to make faith exploration inclusive and meaningful. Our stained glass window symbolises Christ's transformative message, reflecting our core belief in following Jesus' teachings. As part of the Sussex Gospel Partnership, we collaborate with other churches to strengthen local Christian witness. Our financial operations maintain transparency through Gift Aid compliance and public account details. We prioritise creating safe spaces for life's big questions while maintaining traditional Christian practices like baptism and communion.

Home Groups
Weekly home groups offer informal Bible study sessions and prayer opportunities. These small group meetings focus on mutual encouragement and spiritual growth. Participants engage in practical application of biblical teachings through discussion and shared experiences.
Christianity Explored
This seven-week course explores life's big questions through Mark's Gospel. It examines Jesus' identity, purpose, and discipleship requirements. Sessions combine teaching with group discussion, providing space for faith exploration in a relaxed environment.
Hope Explored
A three-week course introducing Christianity's core message through Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. Each session addresses fundamental human longings for hope, peace, and purpose. Designed for those new to Christian faith, with no prior knowledge required.
