Destiny Church - Building a Community of Faith in Glasgow
Destiny Church was founded in January 1990 by Senior Pastors Andrew & Sue Owen, who were commissioned to Scotland in 1989. Starting with a small congregation in a hotel room, the church has grown into a significant national and global network, establishing churches across Scotland, Europe, and beyond. Our mission focuses on spiritual growth, community engagement, and global outreach through Destiny Ministries and Destiny Global Network. We emphasize biblical truth, generosity, and faith-driven living, offering discipleship programs like According to the Pattern to guide believers toward spiritual maturity. Our leadership, including Principals Andrew & Sue Owen, has authored influential works and collaborated with TBN UK to spread our message. We prioritize family discipleship through Destiny Kids and Destiny Youth programs, nurturing faith from early childhood. Our global apostolic network and Destiny College reflect our commitment to equipping believers and fostering intergenerational faith communities. We value church membership as a covenant commitment to mutual support and spiritual growth. Our outreach includes water baptism ceremonies, counselling services, and community-building initiatives. Financial stewardship is encouraged through tithing and generous giving, with resources like our Financial MOT course. We maintain a strong online presence through church services, Bible apps, and digital resources to extend our ministry's impact.

We partner with parents to nurture spiritual growth through interactive learning and community engagement. The program runs during all church services, providing a safe environment for children to develop their faith foundation.
Destiny Youth

Our program helps teenagers navigate modern challenges while developing their personal faith journey. Activities include worship sessions, small group discussions, and outreach opportunities tailored to adolescent spiritual development.
According to the Pattern
This foundational discipleship course teaches biblical principles for spiritual maturity, covering God's character, scriptural protocols, and community living. Translated into multiple languages, it serves as our core training material for all members from new believers to church leaders. The program emphasizes practical application of biblical truths in daily life.
Church Membership
Our church membership program establishes covenant relationships within the Christian community, offering mutual commitment between members and leadership. Benefits include access to spiritual resources, participation in decision-making processes, and opportunities for service. Membership involves completing our According to the Pattern course and formal registration.
Water Baptism
We offer water baptism as a public declaration of faith following Jesus Christ. This full-immersion practice follows biblical precedent and serves as an important spiritual milestone. Our team guides participants through preparation and provides opportunities for baptism during regular church services.
