Services
General Practice
Our core general practice services include routine consultations, health checks, and chronic disease management. Patients can access experienced GPs for diagnosis and treatment of acute and long-term conditions. The service operates across both Taff's Well and Castle View locations with extended weekday hours.
Prescriptions
We provide prescription services with electronic repeat prescriptions available through the NHS Wales App. Patients receive medication reviews and can collect prescriptions after 48-hour processing. Our system ensures medication safety through regular treatment reviews and blood tests when required.
Travel Vaccinations
Specialist travel health consultations assess vaccination needs based on destination. Patients require two appointments: initial assessment at least six weeks before travel and vaccine administration at least two weeks prior. Some vaccines incur private prescription charges as they're not NHS-funded.
Blood Tests
Our phlebotomy service collects blood samples for laboratory analysis. The service supports diagnostic testing for general health assessments, chronic conditions, and pre-treatment evaluations. Samples are taken from the arm or hand with appropriate anaesthesia for children.
X-Rays
We provide diagnostic X-ray services for bone fractures and soft tissue conditions. The service uses radiographic imaging to detect issues like pneumonia and joint problems. Patients receive preparation guidance before imaging by qualified radiographers.
