Services
Worship Services
Our weekly Sunday worship services at 10:30am include contemporary Christian worship, communion celebrations on the third Sunday of each month, and age-appropriate activities for children and teens. Services are designed to be accessible to all, with live-streaming available via YouTube for those unable to attend in person. The services focus on exploring Christian faith through music, scripture readings, and practical teachings that apply to daily life.
Community Rooms
We offer flexible event spaces including the Tyne Hall, which can accommodate up to 200 people theatre-style. Our venues are suitable for conferences, weddings, community groups, and private events. Located on Gosforth High Street with excellent transport links, our accessible facilities include modern amenities and technical support for various event requirements across Newcastle and the North East region.
Men's Shed
Our Men's Shed provides a welcoming environment for adults to develop practical skills and social connections. Meeting on Monday evenings and Thursday mornings, the program includes woodworking projects and Junior Woodcrafters sessions for young people aged 11-18 with their carers. This initiative fosters intergenerational learning and community building through hands-on activities in a supportive setting.
Online Worship
For those unable to attend physically, we provide live-streamed Sunday services on YouTube with archived recordings available. Our digital ministry includes Zoom Life Groups and printed worship materials mailed to housebound members. This multi-platform approach ensures everyone can participate in our Christian community regardless of physical location or mobility challenges.
Safeguarding
We maintain comprehensive safeguarding policies approved by the Methodist Church, including DBS checks for all staff and volunteers working with vulnerable groups. Our designated coordinators ensure safe practices across all activities, with clear procedures for reporting concerns. Regular policy reviews and training sessions demonstrate our commitment to creating secure environments for children, young people, and adults at risk.
