Services
Sunday Worship
Our Sunday worship gatherings combine modern and traditional hymns with Bible-centred teaching. The service includes family worship time followed by age-specific groups for children and youth. Members receive a warm welcome from our team, with refreshments available after the service to foster community connections. Communion is celebrated monthly.
Children's Ministry
We provide age-specific groups for children from birth through to teenagers. These include Sparks (birth-2 years), Glow (3-5 years), Lighthouse (Years 1-6) and Illuminate (Year 7-13). Children start in the main service before going to their designated groups where they receive age-appropriate spiritual instruction.
Community Outreach
Our church actively engages in practical Christian service through community projects. We collaborate with local agencies to address community needs while demonstrating God's love in tangible ways. These initiatives provide opportunities for both church members and local residents to benefit from our outreach efforts.
Prayer Groups
We offer various prayer opportunities including weekly Leadership Prayers on Mondays at 7:30pm. Our Connect Groups provide spaces for prayer and fellowship, while our vision as a House of Prayer encourages ongoing spiritual connection and intercession for our community and beyond.
Language Ministry
We welcome diverse cultural communities through our multilingual ministries. Current provisions include Eritrean and Slovakian church services, along with French/English connect groups. This reflects our commitment to being an inclusive church that serves people from various language backgrounds in Newcastle.
