Sporting Clubs in Exeter

The club existed as early as 1871/72, the 1st recorded match being against the training college (latterly St Luke's) on October 26, 1873. Exeter won by one touchdown and four saves to two saves. The club 1st played in a field belonging to Mr Morrison, and then in the Militia Field behind the barracks.

Courts may be booked for sessions of 30 minutes, 40 minutes or 1 hour up to eight days in advance, either by telephone or at reception. Ringswell Badminton Club in Exeter celebrated their successful achievement of the Badminton England, Premier Club Mark. John Edwards SW Regional Manager for Badminton England presented the certificate to Club Chairperson Mike Finch remarking on the strengths of the club which supported their accreditation.
