Born and brought up in Surrey, Frank married Pippa in 1981. They now have three kids, Ruth, Michael and Robert all in their 20s. Frank became a Christian at Cambridge before training at St John's, Nottingham. Ordained in 1982, Frank has served in churches in Burton on Trent, Swanage and Bury St Edmunds
