Will is a young & enthusiastic piano teacher having over four years teaching knowledge in Exeter with pupils aged 5-80yrs old, varying from complete beginner to ABRSM Grade 8. He learnt piano from an early age and has since progressed to achieve his DipABRSM diploma in Piano Teaching. Along the way he's supported a local big band and choir and accompanied various instrumentalists for exams which has helped him earn considerable experience of other genres, instruments and playing styles.

Absolutely recommended. Will is so engaging and informative without ever being dull! All home education should be this much fun. Definitely cant wait for more. These live sessions would be an essential part of our limited home ed budget, if a fee was introduced. Thank you Will.

My 12yr old twins love these music lessons.
Will keeps them totally engaged and they love his 'dad' jokes that get woven into the session. They share their newfound knowledge with the entire family and often follow on the lessons with some further independent research.

I have a great admiration for Will's online lessons. Throughout the years, I have had several piano teachers, but I must say that Will's teaching techniques surpass them all. He is an exceptionally clear, supportive, and patient instructor, which greatly aids in your piano playing progress while still allowing you to enjoy it. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking piano lessons.

I always feel that I have achieved something, but also that everything I learn opens up new possibilities. I look forward to every lesson! Will taught our eldest son and currently teaches our youngest son. Both really enjoy their lessons - Will is a great teacher with endless patience and both boys have progressed fantastically well achieving distinctions in their Grade 1 exams.

read moreAccess to or ownership of some kind of keyboard instrument is essential to progress. Understandably, many don't want to sink large sums of money into an instrument they may not wish to continue playing after a few months; on the flip side, without anything to practise on, progress will be minimal and you will very quickly want to stop! A catch-22 perhaps. I often know of pianos for sale so why not come for a trial lesson and we can talk about getting you a cheap/free piano or keyboard. This is a valid concern for private instrumental teaching.
