High School in Sheffield, South Yorkshire Wales High School is a complete school, admitting boys and girls of all abilities from 11 to 19 years of age. The current roll is 1, 600, including 350 Sixth Form students. The school has a Year 7 admission limit of 248 pupils. Located on the edge of the villages of Wales and Kiveton Park, the School serves a huge community. Pupils attend from the villages of: Anston, Harthill, Kiveton Park, Thorpe Salvin, Thurcroft, Todwick, Wales and Woodall. Kids from other villages and beyond the Rotherham boundary have chosen to attend Wales High School. The school's success, combined with nice transport facilities, adds to its attraction.

For some time, many well-known and reputable shoe shops have sold soft leather, trainer style footwear that they will advertise as 'school shoes' These same examples of footwear are also sold in sports shops and are advertised as suitable for wearing when taking part in sport.
Sports Kits
read moreFor our Year 10 and year 11 Examination PE Students we offer them the opportunity to purchase our Sports Studies kit which consists of a Red Nike t-shirt, Red Nike training top, Black Nike Shorts/leggings/tracksuit bottoms and black Nike socks. This kit is optional and therefore not compulsory to purchase, it can be worn during their normal core PE lessons as well as sports studies practical lessons. Parents/Carers are fully responsible for the order and purchase of the kit. Unfortunately, once ordered you will not be able to return items, unless faulty, due to them being personalised with our school badge and option of name/initials.
Transition
