The bar tables, with their high-backed upholstered settles, are often the preferred option for more informal dining. There are always four local real ales to be enjoyed on the pumps. We strive to offer you a true taste of the region, with both our food and our drinks. There are always four local real ales on the hand pumps, three of which are semi-permanent fixtures: our own ale, Red & Black, brewed for us by local brewer Nethergate, Woodforde's Wherry (Norfolk) and Adnams Bitter (Suffolk), with the other pumps rotating between smaller local micro breweries, such as City of Cambridge Hobson's Choice, Crafty Beers Sauvignon Blonde and Brandon Rusty Bucket.
