St Marks C Of E Church
Churches in Gillingham, Kent
We at St. Mark's Church in Gillingham would like to welcome you to our church and to our place in cyberspace. We like to let you know a little about our life together as a church fellowship. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He came into this world as a man to show us what God is like and make it possible for us to know God and to live with Him for ever. The Bible is God's word. It tells us that there is only one way to God, and that is through Jesus Christ. By His death on the cross He took on Himself the sins for the entire world - including ours - and so removed the barrier between us and God.

About Us
read moreWe are a relaxed, family-centred, Anglican Church in the centre of Gillingham, and we would love to meet you - whether you're new to the area, a student, a visitor or looking for a church. We very much believe that the church is its people - a community of Christians who seek to love God, follow Jesus Christ, and be continually filled with the Holy Spirit as we meet together to worship, study the Bible, pray for and serve our town and beyond, and support one another. Our church family has a large number of children and young people, and we see that as a real privilege and make them a priority.

At present, here are some of the ways you can be involved in the prayer life of St Mark's. We gather to pray for our Sunday services at 10:15am and 6:15pm in the Chapel area at the front of the church. We seek God's presence in our gatherings, pray for those leading and speaking and listen to God for prophetic words, etc. You are very welcome to join us at these times.
