read moreObsidian Art is an art gallery based in Stoke Mandeville in Buckinghamshire. Established in 2002, we host a rolling programme of exhibitions, some themed and some group, plus invited solo shows by some of our favourite artists. These exhibitions are accompanied by an ongoing display of designer-maker craft - jewellery, ceramics, glass and more. We show work by a broad range of selected UK-based artists and makers with an aim of showing some of the best in art and craft. We also always have some of the best local artists on show.

read moreHere at Obsidian we change our exhibitions every 4-6 weeks to keep things as fresh and interesting as possible. We do always have on display a range of jewellery, glass, ceramics and sculpture. If there is a particular piece or artist that you're interested in, please contact us and we'll be be delighted to let you know what we currently have available at the gallery, or we can arrange to get work in for you to view. We exhibit a huge variety of art by British artists - from traditional oil on canvas to contemporary abstract, illustration to fantasy.

It's free to exhibit at Obsidian - the gallery charges NO ENTRY or HANGING FEE. We take a fixed commission percentage on any sales we make on your behalf. An open exhibition with a broad theme / feel of Spring - colours, subject matter, etc. All 2d and 3d mediums welcome - painting, illustration, drawing, printmaking, photography, ceramics, textiles, glass, wood, metal, jewellery, etc (but work DOES NOT have to fit the Spring theme - we welcome any subject matter as well as abstract).
