From Elgin to Montrose, and the Shetland Isles, we work directly with young people in partnership with local churches. It is further supported through Paul who in Romans 1:16 states "I am not ashamed of the Gospel because it is the power of God for the salvation of those who believe" and in Romans 10:14 where Paul asks the question "How will they know if no one tells them?" Therefore, British Youth for Christ are commissioned to be people who take Good News relevantly to every young person in Britain.

read moreNorth East Scotland Youth for Christ is a "local centre" or chartered ministry under British Youth for Christ, which is in turn affiliated to Youth for Christ International. We are an independent Scottish registered charity (no SC018031), operating under a charter agreement with British Youth for Christ which is renewed every three years. This arrangement allows us to tailor our work to be relevant to the young people of the area while still having access to the resources of a national organisation.

We believe in the Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, and in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. We believe that the salvation of lost and sinful people is by the grace of God through faith and the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
