The Christian Community

Religious Organization in Aberdeen, Scotland
Religious Organization in Aberdeen, Scotland The Christian Community was set up in 1922 under the leadership of Friedrich Rittelmeyer. Rudolf Steiner played an indispensable part in establishing its constitution and forms of service. The middle of the community's life is a morning Eucharist, or communion service of bread and wine known as The Act of Consecration of Man. Anyone is welcome to attend this service, where they may find spiritual nourishment and peace, enlightenment for daily life and strength and companionship along the way - as well as a sense of working for the earth and humanity as a complete.

About Us
read moreNow Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples which are not written in this book, but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in his name. These words of John in his gospel [chapter 20, verse 30] point out the aim of believing or having faith - life in the name of the Son of God. The content of the Creed is the understanding we believe to have gained about Christianity. In the last three centuries people have been taught the Creed by the church as something to be accepted in faith even if the mind could not grasp it.
