The New Inn is a picturesque traditional eighteenth Century inn renowned for real ale, home cooked food, live music and a warm welcome. Only three miles from Wakefield, in the beautiful village of Walton, the inn has retained many of it's original features, with weathered oak beams, stone flags, traditional decor and open fires in winter. Outside in the grounds we currently have an extensive beer garden, patio seating and parking. We hold outside events such as BBQ's and hog roasts, with a marquee available for huge parties.

We accommodate all walking and cycling parties - Either pre-book your meals before you set off or we'll organize a hot and cold buffet to suit all tastes for the larger parties. Working together with our chefs we have recently developed our food offering to include our lunchtime sandwich menu, extensive core menu and our buffet and special event menus. We also offer a daily specials board - our chef's chance to showcase their talent and provide you with the best local and seasonal produce available.
