New Corona Band
Musician in Wolverhampton, West Midlands
We're a four-piece band playing traditional English (and several foreign) music for barn dances and ceilidhs. We consist of Pennie on melodeon, Clif on Appalachian dulcimer, Peter on guitar, and Mike on double bass and bass guitar. In addition, we currently have a regular caller (and singer, when required) Kaz. The New Corona Band was named for the father of Clif Barfield, our Appalachian dulcimers and blow downs player, who played rhythm five string banjo for the Corona Band in the thirties and forties.
