Linacre Methodist Mission is a Grade II Listed Building that has stood at the middle of this neighbourhood, known locally as Linacre, for over one hundred years and has long been the hub for both community and social functions in this corner of Litherland, as well as providing God's love and the challenge of the Gospel to the local community.

read moreWe meet for all age Worship at 12.00 noon giving the whole Church family an opportunity to worship together. Under normal circumstances on the 2nd Sunday of each month we would hold a SMILE (Sunday Madness In Linacre for Everyone) service at 3pm aimed at primary aged children involving story telling and craft based activities. On this Sunday there is no evening service. Occassionally we have a more informal Cafe style service, involving discussion and refreshments. We have no barriers at our communion table- all ages who wish to celebrate their faith in Jesus are welcome to share in the bread and the wine, whether they are members of the Methodist Church or not.
