What do the fault codes on my Stannah
read moreIf you have a problem with your stairlift, it may feel impossible to tell what is wrong with it. However, a lot of stairlifts now come with diagnostic codes to help find the cause of the fault. The Stannah 600 straight stairlift features a User Display Panel located on the side of the stairlift carriage, which allows you to see the status of the stairlift, and shows fault codes. This is especially useful when you are trying to explain over the phone exactly what has happened or gone wrong with the lift.
New Year
read moreWith the new year now well underway, why not pop down to our showroom in Hamble to take a look at the new Platinum Ultimate that we have just had installed. With its first step start, ultra low rail height and the ability to travel up the stairs facing forwards, you can get a real feel for what this lift is capable of.
read moreDesigned for ease of use and safety, the mobile hoists and stand aids that Liftability can provide are suitable for either home or residential care environments. They are particularly suitable for use in unpredicted, less frequent or one-off lifting situations where there is no ceiling-mounted hoist available. With maximum space for the user, both the Invacare Birdie and the Birdie Compact hoists offer a truly comfortable lift and transfer to or from beds, chairs or even the floor. The lifters are designed to ensure that folding and unfolding can be carried out easily and without the need for tools.
read moreAt Liftability, your satisfaction is our aspiration, so our customer care commitment does not end with the installation of your product. We also offer a full range of bespoke service contracts and extended warranties, designed to give you the correct level of maintenance, along with the reassurance and comfort that our fully trained engineers are always just a phone call away! Our products are all manufactured to a very high standard, meeting (exceeding) the requirements stipulated by both European and British Standards, however we do recommend regular maintenance to ensure that all equipment is maintained to the highest of standards to maintain reliability.
read moreAll our reconditioned lifts are rigorously tested by our team of engineers before being fitted in your home. We don't compromise on quality or safety so you can be sure we've thoroughly checked that it's every bit as good as a new one.
read moreIf your staircase has any turns or bends in it, you will most likely need a curved stairlift. Curved stairlifts can be designed to travel onto the landing instead of stopping at the top of the stairs. Curved stairlifts require a custom made rail that has to be made to measure to fit the exact dimensions of your staircase. Due to this, it will be slightly more expensive than a straight model, and the lead times tend to be a little longer. As you can imagine, there are many designs of stair case so it's difficult to give an accurate price prior to an on-site survey.
