Lantern Preschool

read moreLantern Preschool provides a welcoming and nurturing environment for young children and their families. Lantern meets in Redland Parish Church's church halls on Redland Green, Monday - Friday 9.15am - 2.30pm, with various sessions available. Lantern is part of the Children and Families work of Redland Parish Church. The Church also offers a Toddler group, Toddlers in the Park, and a monthly Family Service. Sunday school groups, for preschool and primary-aged children, run alongside the 10am church service on the other three Sundays in the month.

read moreLantern meets in the rear section of the church halls, which are light and airy and has direct access to an enclosed garden. The preschool room, outdoor space and play equipment were specially designed and selected around Lantern's requirements. New play equipment specifically for our age groups was purchased for both inside and out following the halls' refurbishment. All equipment is regularly inspected to ensure that it is in a good and safe condition. Lantern has its own dedicated secure gated entrance, own toilet facilities, and all areas of the building and garden that we use are accessible to wheelchairs.

read moreWe run Lantern Preschool with a team of well qualified Early Years Practitioners, aided by a fantastic team of volunteers, who provide valuable support each week. We also encourage parents to help at Lantern on a rota basis - Mums, Dads, Nannies and Grandparents are equally welcome. Becky has responsibility for the day-to-day running of Lantern Preschool and overseeing the curriculum; ensuring that the individual learning and development needs of all the children are met. Becky has a passion for child led play and Personal, Social and Emotional development.
