At Kennedy Way Surgery you can speak to and see a doctor the very SAME day - at a time that's convenient to you, without waiting around endlessly and without having to go through a laborious triage system. Just contact the surgery and ask to speak to the doctor of your choice. They will call you back, wherever you are within 2 hours - or at a time of your choosing if that suits better. If we can deal with your query over the phone, we will - (we don't want to waste your time!) - but if you need a face to face appointment, we'll arrange that with you for that same day.

read moreRepeat prescriptions are for medication which the Doctor has agreed may be repeated without you being seen again. Please nominate either Yate Family Pharmacy here at Kennedy Way Surgery, Boots, Lloyds (Yate), Lloyds (Chipping Sodbury), Lloyds (Courtside), Abbotswood, Tesco (Yate) or Boots Westgate Centre or North Yate Pharmacy who will collect your prescription from the surgery. You should then collect your medication from the Pharmacy. It will be ready for collection, 2 WORKING DAYS after we have received the request.

read moreIn addition to our easy access system where you can see or talk to a doctor the same day, we also offer early morning appointments between 7:30am-8am and from 6:30pm-7pm on various days of the week for people who need to plan ahead. Seeing some form of ID will help to ensure the correct matching of a patient to the NHS central patient registry, thereby ensuring any previous medical notes are passed onto us.
