Ingleby
Museum & Art Gallery in Derby, Derbyshire
Ingleby Gallery sits gently in the Trent Valley surrounded by open pasture land extending to the river with ponds and ducks, a very rural setting with ample parking for visitors. The brick building housing the Gallery was originally a shire horse stable, part of one of the working farms on Sir Francis Burdett's Foremarke Estate. Built in the eighteenth century it has many of its original features, hayrack and harness pegs.
