read moreWe trust you are coping, feeling well, and remaining vigilant during these changing times. We will continue to operate in our 'safe mode' which is compatable with the new restrictions; and we will continue with this policy until we feel it is safe for our patients and ourselves to do otherwise. Please request your Herbal Medicine in good time to allow for any delivery issues caused by lockdown restrictions. Please dont leave your request till the last minute. Hydes wont let you down but remember that the postal service themselves will be very busy throughout.
Medical Testing and Healthchecks
read moreWe take blood at Hydes Herbal Clinic and detailed blood tests are performed at a highly specialist London Laboratory who provide us with the latest techniques. Blood is taken at the Clinic by arrangement, despatched to the Laboratory and the printed results are received with 24 hours. We can conduct Cholesterol Tests on site either as part of the normal consultation, or upon request of the patient. From the volumes of orthodox research including the important Framingham Study, it is now evident that a single reading of the "cholesterol-level" in the blood, is unreliable.

Medical Herbal Consultation
read moreWe determine your underlying condition, and prescribe the most appropriate herbal remedies for you. Every effort will be made to improve your health. We recommend that patients visit the clinic in person, particularly for a first appointment. This means we have our full service of physical examination and medical tests available should they be required. However we are able to carry out Skype/Facetime and telephone consulations and these provide a helpful alternative for busy, distant or infirm patients.
Questions & Answers
read moreWhen compared with the powerful chemical drugs (man- made) so often used today, the more gentle and naturally occurring substances in plants are clearly "safer". However, many herbs are extremely potent. The essential difference with all our treatment, is that it is individually prescribed for an individual patient and is unique. We prescribe an accurate dose of precise herbs, avoiding any risk of reaction or side- effect. The type, combination, presentation, concentration, duration of each prescription varies according to the patient's condition, symptoms, age, gender, lifestyle, sensitivity, hormone balance, emotional state, body weight and so on.
Medicinal Herbs
read moreWe source Medicinal Herbs locally but also from many other parts of the world; North and South America, Europe, Africa, the Middle and Far East, but only those of the highest quality and therapeutic action are acceptable to us. We stock and process over 130 individual plant stocks on site into Herbal tinctures from which our liquid prescriptions are then individually made up. This in addition to some Fluid Extracts which we source externally and Tablets, Creams and other Medicines which we produce by different processes.
