Horsham Piano Centre
read moreFurther to the most recent Government announcement that this area now falls into the Teir 4 restrictions we regrettably have to close the shop until further notice. Pianos that we currently have in stock can be ordered and delivered locally but there is not the option to come in and play the pianos prior to delivery. If you would like to place an order please either call us on 07833 758562 or email [email protected] with your requirements. We would like to thank our customers for their business over the past year and hope that 2021 brings better times for everyone.
About Us
read moreHorsham Piano Centre was set up in 1980 and has been a family run business since then on the same site in Queen Street. Although the shop has just a single frontage it extends to a large showroom of around 2500 sq ft, enough to house a stock of up to 50 pianos. We offer a full range of piano services including sales, repairs, tuning, hire and removals. Also on the same site are our workshops where all the repairs and restoration work is carried out. Andrew joined the business in 1982, shortly after it was established by his brother Paul.
Piano Trolley Hire
read moreIf you decide to undertake the moving of a piano yourself then a good quality piano trolley is a must. With the piano lifted onto one of these manoeuvering the piano is so much easier. It makes light work of shallow steps and is also essential if it needs to go around a tight corner. If you hire a trolley from us and have concerns about how it is best to move your piano we can give you advice on the best ways to overcome your worries. With one of these trolleys it is possible to put the piano on its end if it has a particularly tight corner to negotiate.
Piano removals & storage Sussex
read moreWhen it comes to moving a piano it is often immediately apparent that they are often a considerable weight, many uprights will be in excess of 200 kgs and larger grands over 500kgs. If you decide to employ the professionals to carry out the removal of your precious instrument then we would be very happy to give you a quote. Our removal team are very friendly, experienced, careful and professional and can carry out all types of removal. Whatever the piano that needs moving from a tired family heirloom that has been passed down many generations to a new grand piano we treat them all with the same high levels of care and respect, and all removals are fully insured.
Piano Repairs & Restoration Sussex
read moreWe often have customers call us rather reluctantly to inquire about piano repairs fearing that it is going to cost them ‘an arm and a leg' but the reality is that most problems can be rectified relatively quickly and therefore at minimal cost. Pianos will frequently develop sticking notes or sluggish actions, generally as a result of a change in temperature or humidity levels and normally these can be undertaken easily in the home, often by a tuner who is happy to make minor adjustments whilst tuning the piano.
Testimonials
read moreAs the owner of a disaster restoration company I can thoroughly recommend The Horsham Piano Centre. For the last 7 or 8 years they have helped my business provide a mitigation service by collecting and storing and sometimes restoring pianos owned by my clients who have suffered a fire or flood disaster. After my nan passed away and left me some money I really wanted to buy something special with the inheritance and something that I could pass down to future generations. At this time I had been learning to play the piano for three years and was about to undertake grade 3! I knew it was a piano I wanted to get.
Digital pianos for sale
read moreWhen deciding to branch out into digital pianos we made a conscious decision to stock just one brand. At the moment we have the KAWAI digital range. The reason for this is that we wanted to keep the range that we felt had the closest touch to a piano and the most pleasant tone. At trade shows and supplier events we have been ale to try many of the top brands and at the moment we feel that the Kawai digitals are the best, in our opinion. In the past we have had Yamaha, Roland and Korg digitals but since about 2004 we have felt that the Kawai range has the edge over the competition.
