Hope Church

Churches in Luton, Bedfordshire
Churches in Luton, Bedfordshire We're mainstream in Christian Values and beliefs but very much 21st century in relevance and style. We're seeking to make Jesus known to today's generation through building a community that is open to all; a community which declares God's truth and works out His hope, through our lives together. Hope Church is therefore not just a Sunday meeting, although we do meet together weekly to celebrate our faith, it is much more than that. We are not ideal; we currently have failings and weakness just like everyone else. However at the middle of the Christian message is the Cross of Jesus Christ through which God offers us all forgiveness and a new start.

About Us
read moreIf that is so, an obvious question is this: How does the message of the Quran improve on that of the Bible? That, of course, is a question for Muslims to answer. But this is not a credible question for Christians to put to Muslims if Christians don't themselves know how the message of the New Testament develops and exceeds that of the Old. On a simple level, the answer to our question might seem obvious: Jesus is new. The promised Messiah has arrived in person. That which was foreshadowed in the Old Testament has become, or more accurately begun to become, a reality.
What happens mid-week
read moreThe primary way people can get involved in the Hope Church community is through our Community Areas. The youth have their own midweek programme. If you are new to Hope Church we hold regular welcome evenings to find out more about us. We also meet termly for a half night of prayer. We are also involved beyond Luton as part of the Catalyst Network and through being an active supporter of the charity Home Leone. Our work is faith-based, but our staff and programmes serve all people, regardless of religion, race, ethnicity or gender.
