read moreG Haffner Pork Butcher was established in Burnley, Lancashire in 1889 by George Kristian Haffner, the great grandfather of John Haffner the current owner of the business. George opened his own pork butcher's shop after working for his uncle in Carlisle who already had a well established pork butcher's business. We have two shops and a bakery in Burnley. Our main shop is on Keirby Walk where we prepare all our retail and wholesale orders. We have a pie, cooked meats and sausage stall in the Market Hall and we make our own pies, cooked meats and sausages at our bakery on Marlborough Street in Burnley.

read moreOur wholesale meat orders are prepared at our Keirby Walk shop specifically to the customer's requirements and are delivered in our own vans free of charge in the local Burnley area ensuring they reach their destination in excellent condition. Our services include retail freezer orders which can be telephoned in to our Keirby Walk shop where they are cut to order by our master butchers then bagged and labelled, they can also be delivered locally. We do not send perishable meat products by postal or courier services as they require special temperature controlled packaging and we cannot guarantee that they will arrive on time and in excellent condition.
