read moreAt Guildford Baptist Church we have many opportunities for prayer and for connecting with God. We have two Prayer Deacons who oversee our ministry and a larger Prayer Ministry Team of congregational members who are also there to help. We believe that many aspects of Prayer Ministry can be categorised into Prayer and into Care. Ruth works with Wycliffe Bible Translators in a staff care role. She and her husband moved to the UK in 1995 to start a translation project with Elam Ministries; the whole Bible was completed in 2014.

read moreThe Chapel was built for people who desire to seek the Lord and draw closer to Him. It has a rhythm of prayer, which includes worship, praying the Scriptures and intercession. We gather regularly to gain God's perspective on our lives, our Church and our world. It is open throughout the week. All are welcome to use it for individual reflection and prayer, or join us when we gather together. It is easy to feel that what we do in Church is holy and matters to God, while what we do outside isn't and doesn't.

read moreDuring the service, children up to age 18 can leave for their different groups (depending on their ages) to spend time together learning about God, with games and activities. Worship is truly expressed by lives in reverence, submission and service to God. It's a 24/7 response. Yet what we do on Sundays is important. As the Church gathers, God is present by His Spirit, ministering His grace through the praying, singing, reading of Scripture, preaching, exercise of spiritual gifts, Communion and other aspects of corporate worship.

read moreWe are a group of Cantonese-speaking students who hold regular gatherings during term-time, monthly meetings on campus, weekly Bible studies and discipleship programmes. Have a look at our Facebook and Instagram for more information. We will be camping this year from 23rd - 31st August at Cobnor, on the edge of Chichester Harbour. Please only come if you book in advance, and can come self-contained! Get in touch with the Church Office for details of who to contact.
