The Club is situated in a secluded area only some 5 minutes from the heart of the city. The Bridlepath is a delightful course to play with enthusiastic Ladies, Men and Senior's sections. Visitors are welcome and we look forward to welcoming you soon. You don't need to take our word for what the quality of the golf course. The Northern Golfer Magazine describes Gosforth GC as being a "stunning course minutes from Newcastle" and gave the course the following verdict.

read moreThe Seniors Section in particular is a strong and vibrant part of Gosforth Golf Club Seniors and has almost 100 members who enjoy a great programme of matches, competitions and social golf. Membership of the Seniors Section is open to all men who are members of the Club and over 60 years of age. The 2020 Captain of the Seniors Section is Roy Kirton. Our open is being held on the 28th May. The Seniors Section has organised competitions every Monday with "sweeps" organised every Thursday. There are informal "roll-ups" played on Wednesdays.
