The practice is a partnership of six GPs. They are well supported by a complete complement of team. The Practice Development Manager is Philippa White who leads an administrative team of medical secretaries, office team and receptionists. There is an experienced staff of Practice Nurses. A dispensary supplies medication to patients who live more than a mile from their nearest chemist and is staffed by a team of dispensers. There is a physiotherapy gym with consulting rooms, a dedicated child health consulting room and huge clinic room as well as a podiatry treatment room.

We are now offering extended hours appointments, outside our normal opening hours. As a patient it is your right, with certain exceptions, to have all information regarding your personal health, whether kept on paper or on the computer, confidential? When you first register with a practice certain personal details, such as name, address and date of birth are passed to the Primary Care Trust and to the NHS Central Register. This enables your medical record to be located and passed to your new practice.

Take this to the Registrars Office, (together with the deceased's Medical Card and Birth Certificate, if available) for the area in which the death took place. Alternatively you can register by declaration at any convenient Registrars Office but certificates will not be available as these will have to be posted to you a few days later. The Registrar will normally issue a Green coloured certificate for you to give to your funeral director who will look after necessary arrangements for the funeral.
