Training Courses in Woking, Surrey
We aid older people use new technology. We believe older people can enjoy and be empowered by digital technology, like anyone else, if they get the best tools and training. We know digital inclusion matters. Currently a 3rd of all UK adults do not have nice enough digital skills, an estimated half of those are older people. That is 10m people. A society where older people are cut off because they lack digital skills is not a healthy cheerful place. For anyone.

About Us
read moreIn 1996, armed with just a bike, a computer and lots of neighbours and friends who needed help with a new thing called the internet, our founder Emma Weston OBE set up Digital Unite. Today, we are an award-winning social enterprise, working with hundreds of organisations and supporting thousands of people to achieve digital inclusion and enable change. We want a society where digital technologies and the skills to use them support inclusion and participation for everyone. And we know that the most effective and sustainable way to realise that is through empowering people to help other people with digital skills.
What we do
read moreWhatever your digital strategy, you need your customers and staff to have the digital skills to embrace it. The best way to help them is by having a team of Digital Champions. Digital Champions can be anyone such as colleagues, residents and local volunteers. They are people who want to help others and who want to learn themselves. Crucially they offer that personal touch that changes attitudes and builds digital skills and confidence in others. Here's where we come in. We have products and services that train and resource your Digital Champions and give your digital inclusion programme clarity and structure.
