CrossReach was started in June 2005 and was previously known as the Church of Scotland Board of Social Responsibility. Under our new name, CrossReach continues the Church of Scotland's long tradition of delivering care and support. In fact, this work began back in 1869, so we currently have a long history in the area of social care. We employ more than 2, 000 team in 80 services stretching from Shetland to the Borders. Our care and support services aid 1000's of people in need every day of the year.

read moreAll our training courses are delivered by experienced practitioners, many of whom have a diploma in training & development and are COSCA accredited. There are a few places still available on our COSCA validated 4 module Post Qualifying Certificate in Counselling Children and Young People. This course is aimed at qualified counsellors with a desire to meet the mental health needs of Children and Young People. The Scottish Government have regularly highlighted their desire for 'Scotland to be the best place in the world to grow up'.
