Christ Church is a properly constituted Local Ecumenical Partnership and is the only Free Church in the town. The former Methodist and United Reformed chapels are situated within a few yards of each other facing on to the major street (Berry Lane) Approximately twenty years ago the two churches had very similar membership numbers and attendance and neither had a minister resident in the town, each sharing their minister with tiny churches in Preston. During holiday periods we started to share services using the premises alternately.

We are working on having printed services available for those without the technology. We would ask everyone to be mindful of our need to continue in prayer and worship even when we are not able to physically gather together.
